Red Sox to showcase top prospects as part of new MLB Spring Breakout event

A group comprised of the Red Sox high prospects will take the sphere subsequent spring as a part of an upcoming Spring Breakout showcase introduced Wednesday by Major League Baseball.

As a part of the four-day occasion, which is scheduled to run from March 14-17, every MLB membership will discipline a group of their high prospects to play an exhibition sport in opposition to one other membership’s high younger stars. The Red Sox showcase will happen on Saturday, March 16 at JetBlue Park at 1:05 p.m. in opposition to the Atlanta Braves prospects.

Each prospect sport shall be seven innings and most shall be held as a part of a doubleheader that includes the group’s huge league golf equipment, although the Red Sox showcase shall be a standalone sport.

The groups will encompass 20-25 prospects, and whereas no rosters have been introduced, some logical selections for the Red Sox embrace high prospects like Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony, Kyle Teel and Wikelman Gonzalez.
